New Quilt in The Making - French General Still Life

I am progressing into the Easter holiday which is a perfect time for this quilt to come to fruition. I started this quilt in February. The friendship blocks have been pieced and ready for a bit. The last embroidery stitches on the applique are done, and the quilt is ready to set together.

I am using as many French General fabrics as I possibly can in this top. They are stunning and beautiful! The red bird toile is my favorite. I have a limited amount so there was a lot of measuring, calculating and rearranging of borders to make everything fit together.

The final border will be a 4-inch checkerboard. I am quite pleased with how this French beauty has come together. Can’t wait to quilt it with lots of feathers and fluff.

Colorful fabric strips and squares with floral and geometric patterns, in red, beige, and cream tones, are arranged in a patchwork style.
Red floral fabric on cutting mat with grid, accompanied by yellow rotary cutter. Measuring tape visible at top and left edges.
Red birds and bamboo pattern on white fabric, featuring intricate floral designs.
A quilt featuring a central vase with red and pink flowers, surrounded by intricate patchwork of red and beige patterns on a fabric background.
Hand guiding a pink and beige quilt through a sewing machine labeled B 570 Quilters Edition. Pins and patterns visible; cozy setting.
Quilt with floral vase pattern in red, pink, and beige on a bed in a cozy room. A wooden side table and woven basket are nearby.
